Since 2019, Red Light Busking has transformed shop windows into stages, blending live music with everyday spaces to celebrate community, culture, and creativity. Each Saturday this December, we're thrilled to bring you a lineup of phenomenal live performances at unique venues across the high street. This week, join us at Querky Café, the perfect spot to enjoy soulful sounds while savouring delicious brunch dishes and creative shakes.

Proudly supported by Waltham Forest Council’s Fellowship Fund, this free event is your chance to experience the magic of live music in a truly special setting.


Meet the Artists


Ivanmore


A London-based singer-songwriter and guitarist, Ivanmore embodies the essence of an "old soul," drawing inspiration from the timeless sounds of the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. A devoted fan of musical legends like Curtis Mayfield, Al Green, D'Angelo, Maxwell, and Sananda Maitreya, Ivanmore weaves their influences into his own distinctive style.With his band, The Groove Profound, Ivanmore is a passionate advocate for soul, funk, and groove music, creating authentic, expressive tracks that promise to stand the test of time. His live performances invite audiences to "Get down on The One," delivering an irresistible blend of energy and heart.


Modupé Obasola


Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Modupé is a rising star whose talent earned her a spot as a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent. Hailing from North London, Modupé is inspired by artists like India Arie, Bruno Mars, and Amy Winehouse. Her soulful voice and radiant stage presence have graced some of London’s most prestigious venues, including The Hard Rock Cafe, The London Palladium, and BoxPark Shoreditch. Modupé was also the face of a high-profile Gibson Guitar campaign in partnership with TFL and the Mayor of London, with her image displayed on iconic London buses. She’s also a Resident Artist at Camden’s renowned Roundhouse, further cementing her place as one of the most exciting emerging artists in the UK.
